Raptors' Kawhi Leonard Out at Least a Week With Knee Swelling
Toronto says Kawhi Leonard will miss at least a week with swelling in his left knee and will be reevaluated in one week; tests found no acute injury, and he is on a treatment and rehabilitation program. ESPN's Shams Charania reports Leonard is expected to miss a period of weeks, with an MRI showing no structural damage. Leonard, 35, was scratched an hour before Sunday's 117-94 loss in Minnesota after averaging 19.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in his first two games back with Toronto, which reacquired him from the Clippers this offseason. His past knee surgeries were on his right knee.
