It reflects our understanding as of the date shown and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Verify anything that matters to you with the league, team, governing body or event organizer before acting on it.

3. No betting or wagering advice

NOTHING ON THE SITE IS BETTING, WAGERING, FANTASY OR INVESTMENT ADVICE. We do not publish odds or picks for the purpose of wagering, and we receive no compensation from any sportsbook, fantasy operator or prediction market. Gambling involves risk of loss and is restricted by law in many places; you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. 4. Participation and health

Running, swimming, pickleball and other activities carry risk of injury. Training, technique or event information on the Site is general and is not medical or coaching advice. THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSSES FROM TRAVEL, TICKETS, ENTRY FEES, WAGERS OR MISSED EVENTS, ARISING FROM USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100.00).

8. Trademarks and third-party content

League, team and event names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them in news reporting. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, governing body or event. Links to third-party sites are for reference; we are not responsible for their content, and where a source is linked with an item, the source governs over our summary of it.

9. Comments and submissions

Comments are the responsibility of the person who posts them and do not represent our views. We may remove any submission for any reason, including betting tips, referral links, harassment, or personal attacks on athletes, officials or readers. By submitting material you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish it in connection with the Site.

10. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

As of the effective date the Site carries no advertising, sponsored content, affiliate links or sportsbook partnerships. If that changes, every affected page will say so where the link or placement appears, and paid placements will never appear in news stories.

11. How this site is produced

Content is researched and drafted with the assistance of automated tools and reviewed before publication. Each item lists its sources, and errors are corrected with a dated note.

12. Emergencies

THIS SITE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. For weather or safety alerts at an event, follow the instructions of event officials and local authorities. In an emergency, call 911.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with an updated effective date.

14. Privacy

Comment and contact forms store what you submit and a one-way hash of your network address used only to limit spam. We do not sell personal information.

Some stories embed videos hosted by YouTube. The player is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain only when you press play, and YouTube's own terms and privacy policy then apply; the preview image is fetched from YouTube when the page loads.

15. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any action arising from them shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
